JAPAN’S DREAM PLAYBACK TECHNOLOGY

You're going to want to pay close attention to this story that was spotted and shared by T.M.(with our gratitude_, because it alleges yet another massive step forward in the hard technology of mind-reading, and by implication, of its technological manipulation. By the nature of the case, it's in the "whopper doozie" category, and I think you'll see why once you read it:

Researchers Have Developed A Device That Will Playback Your Dreams In Video Sequence

Note what we have here:

The dream-recording device developed by Japanese researchers opens up unprecedented possibilities for exploring the enigmatic realm of dreams. Building upon advancements in neuroimaging and artificial intelligence, this technology captures the intricate neural activity that accompanies dream states and translates them into visual representations. By integrating brain imaging techniques with sophisticated algorithms, scientists have made significant strides in decoding the visual content of dreams, leading to the creation of a device capable of rendering dreams into video sequences.

Just a few years ago I wrote my book about mind manipulation technologies titled Microcosm and Medium (available at Lulu, com). In that book I detailed research from the late 1960s and 1970s that was able to compile "electro-encephaligraphic dictionaries", a lexicon of brain wave patterns that were associated with specific words. The idea was that by mapping the patterns of several people associated with brainwaves accompanying specific words, one would eventually, and with the correct technology, be able to "read" a person's mind, i.e., to literally "listen in" to an individual's interior "conversation."  In that book I argued that the technology could them be used to inject a conversation into an individual's head by modulating these patterns into microwaves, and I indicated some strange stories in the book of individuals "hearing voices" and having conversations of this sort. In any case, I think the point is clear: if one can do this with patterns of brainwaves associated with specific words, what happens when the technology of literally watching the interior electromagnetic states of the brain alter in real time? Could it be applied, not just to create patterns of words, but of the interior pictures that often accompany our interior conversations? or our dreams?

Answer: yes:

According to the article “Japanese Researchers Develop a Device that can Playback Your Dreams: Facts,” the dream-recording device employs functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) to measure brain activity and identify patterns associated with specific dream content. Machine learning algorithms then reconstruct these patterns into visual imagery, enabling the creation of dream playback videos. The device harnesses the power of deep learning and neural networks to bridge the gap between the subjective experience of dreams and objective visual representation.

While the dream-recording device showcases the immense progress made in decoding dreams, it is important to note that the technology is still in its early stages. Researchers are continuously refining the accuracy and resolution of the reconstructed dream videos, working towards a more comprehensive and faithful representation of the dreamer’s subjective experience. As the technology advances, it holds the potential to revolutionize our understanding of dreams, consciousness, and the intricate workings of the human mind.  (Emphasis added)

You're probably already thinking of the horrifying uses to which such a technology might be put, and indeed the article itself hints at them:

From a psychological perspective, the dream-recording device offers new avenues for exploring the subconscious mind and understanding the complexities of human cognition. It presents an opportunity to study the connections between dreams, emotions, memories, and mental well-being. By analyzing the content and patterns of dreams, researchers may uncover hidden aspects of personality, identify psychological disorders, and develop more targeted therapeutic interventions.

Or to put all that quite differently, with sufficient advancement in the technology, one might be able to inject false memories, visions, and experiences into an  individual and, quite literally, induce psychotic "breaks" and drive an individual mad by means of those false implanted "memories" and "experiences".  Indeed, my my book, I explored the case of a lady experiencing some of those "interior conversations" being literally driven into her mind by the application of an external technology. To this lady's credit, she noticed that these conversations would cease outside of certain environments, and it was that fact which afforded her the clue that what she was dealing with was not a psychic break but precisely a technology.

And then, there's a final possibility, one both comforting and chilling all at once: what if such technology could be adapted to communicate with very different types of life-forms... or perhaps, what if such a technology is an imitation of their own abilities? Plasma intelligent life hypothesis, anyone?

See you on the flip side...

In one’s view, that “interior conversation” portion of an individual’s cognitive workings, where language interpretation and formation take place, easily suggests what experiencers of some paranormal phenomena and abduction case scenarios undergo and relate back as clearly as they understand it. Managing those neuro-linguistic-phonetic-acoustic stimuli would certainly aid in discernment – that self-verses exterior sourced input, for instance.

      Be unconcerned.
Not only is that technology totally in it’s infancy it cannot even string together 1 minute of continuous video after “the AI algo’s” have done their bit.
worse. Subjects say after they watch their “dream” that it bore no resemblance to what little they wrote down and do remember after waking.
      I call BS.

Robert Duncan, supposed DARPA whistleblower suggests they can hack dreams.

This is interesting as I have had dreams that I knew weren’t my own, my subconscious stood as a third party observing the dream and was wondering what was going on.

Interestingly he said you couldn’t protect yourself from it, which makes me wonder if it’s ELF waves, no idea how that would work.

“patterns associated with specific dream content”

sorry but I am calling “bullshit” here (nothing personal, sir, it is directed at the “report.”

WHO is “associating” these patterns with the “dream content?????”

my guess: the subject in question had a dream, the magnetic resonance patterns have been recorded… now HOW do the recorded patterns get associated with the dream content?

“WELL, WE ASKED HIM AND HE SAID HE WAS DREAMING ABOUT DRIVING A TRAIN INTO A TUNNEL, SO THESE RECORDED PATTERNS REPRESENT DRIVING A TRAIN INTO A TUNNEL”

C’mon people, we are being conned here. I give this article by “japenese researchers” about as much credence as two planes taking down three buildings or “only three shots were fired” by a sorry marksman at a moving target through a tree.

    Nope, sorry, no credibility

Hollywood is expanding its militarised dream factory, and, if the Frankenstein’s faction, of the military-industrial complex, can have bio labs, in the Ukraine, then its neuro-linguistic programming faction, can have brain labs in Japan.

Hollywood wants to clusterf*ck Hiroshima and Nagasaki, by nuking the Japaneses in the noodle, to exorcise dissent, because Japan is the “swing state”, when it comes to creating a land bridge, between continents, in the Bering Strait.

The Vatican doesn’t want Genghis Khan, in full steam locomotion, throughout the Americas, and therefore the Jesuits are working overtime, to ensure Japanese subservient compliance, to the New World Order’s crazy dream.

Hacking the Matrix, by terminal window, is a Buddha hobby, when Japanese letters are raining down the screen.

I keep track of artistic visionaries, like Joss Whedon and Seth MacFarlane, to see what they are doing. Former speaks Shakespeare, and latter stand-up comedy, and both master the great flow of things.

The mesmerising effect, of keeping hilarious company, is where stimulus and affect automatically reaches optimum, as, when pouring heart and soul, into matter at hand, and then the rest follows, by itself.

When artistic alchemy reaches high quality, then the swarm dances around the bard, like angels, and everything finds its natural flow, which is the mirth of happiness, which is God’s vision.

Science of Cain places butterflies on pins, for study, whereas only in nature are they alive, swarming around Abel.

That was interesting research from the Berkeley brain lab, but they were mapping from a film. I don’t know about you, but my dreams might be as vivid as a film but the content is frequently irrational, you know, like a dream. And the roles are sort of reversed – brain reaction to a film was monitored. But where’s the dream coming from? I just can’t get my head around algorithms that can process my surrealistic dreams into visual images. And what of feelings? TT might be on to something. I can understand an intrusive tech that Dr Joseph alluded to, but dreams? Not so sure

Didn’t Ursula K. LeQuinn play around with this idea in one of her novels I forgot the title.

    • anakephalaiosis on October 26, 2023 at 3:46 am

My dreams, whom I’m dreamt by, are my allies, because, when fighting with a dull blade, then falling unconscious, is waking up, with a sharpened blade, so my dreams are practical tool sharpeners.

I don’t think much of such a “drive-in theatre”, because dreams are just means to an end, which is the fine-tuning of the “land bridge”, between ego and self. Creating poetry is awake dreaming.

Ursula Le Guin leaves a soulless impression, and, without soul, wizardry becomes black magic, by default. In comparison, C. S. Lewis is the wizard, who expels the wicked witch, by self-sacrifice.

Being the way, the truth, and the life, is a pilgrim’s song, which is a thing in itself, and therefore neither a topic of study, nor a feminist agenda.

I wish the article had some more technical information (and the article that it links to didn’t seem to work). I’d like an explanation for why this technology is only for reading dreams, and not waking consciousness.

  6. Laura on October 25, 2023 at 4:08 pm

I am not certain that my sleeping dreams are that meaningful. Most of dreams seem a bit random as if I can cleaning off a messy desk top. Occasionally my dreams are aspirational but not often. This makes me think that not that much will be learned from dreams, unless there is a baseline of the person’s daily experiences upon which to compare.

Inspiration or intuition comes to me in flashes or as a gut feeling. I wonder if the technology could distinguish between involuntary insights and determined cognition.

Does deja vu have a signature?

    • Scarmoge on October 26, 2023 at 3:16 pm

Laura … that I had a dream is true … as to the truth or falsity of its content, well that is another question. For some sorting out of the question of whether or not we have such a faculty as “intuition” see C.S. Peirce “Questions Concerning Certain Faculties Claimed for Man”

Pragmatism is a golden calf, as an unrestrained use of Occam’s Razor, which is logic taken to extremes, in disregard of reason.

Pragmatism is blatant idolatry, which collides with Elohim-Yahweh, as the scales of law, that balance logic and reason.

By default, natural state is pragmatic, and therefore promoting pragmatism defeats the purpose of a social contract.

Cognition, in a three-foot world, versus intuition, that grows new neural pathways.

After reading the first few paragraphs I have to say…
    FICTION!

More like, Hollywood rendering a script – for a movie – based upon a novel, of a dead author – written by an conglomerate of international AI -with an interdimensional AI, as director.

I don’t doubt the ungodly technology’s sending the voice in the skull; nor other mind technologies messing with memories, or other cognitive functions.

    HOGWASH!
No matter the eloquent scientific jargon – dreams are highly individualized.

          1. Historically, Buddha is Scythian descent, who is known, for popping off the karma wheel, the rotating compass, the original swastika, which is a codeword for acquiring immunity, against being absorbed, into deceptive delusions. (A fixed compass is a dharma).

          2. Bringing a Scythian skull cup, to the Last Supper, is saying the very same, because Assyrian loyalists, lobbying for a new Nineveh, in Jerusalem, weren’t going, to be included, in the rallied reboot of the zodiac tribe, and, that is why Judas ran, because the game of infiltration was up.

          3. “Messiah” is basically a reset button, and a “Second Coming” (a 2nd Reset) was always a necessary prediction, when, finally, the original terms, Elohim and Yahweh, were to be explained, by their original intent, as basically the scales of law, balancing logic and reason, which is Bronze Age politics.

          4. An Odin/Adon is the foreboded Messiah, because an Odin is the technical reset button, that reboots the zodiac tribe, to its original intent and purpose, by logical deduction, within a framework of reason, which is the thinking man’s grasp of reality.

          5. Double agents, as clowns on thrones, in Scandinavia, is a sacrosanct violation, because military draft is obligatory, along with swearing obligatory oath, to king and country, which is misusing the unambiguous word of honour, in defence of ambiguous duplicity.

          6. I’m not just an ordinary draft resistor, or conscientious objector, as I’m the “king” of draft resistors, and draft resistors are also known, as berserkers, which originally meant “bare shirt”, or, in modern terms, a T-shirt of own design, stamped, with a personal homemade meme.

          7. Of course, my berserker T-shirt says: “Odin”, which is a king of kings position, backed, by thorough understanding of Odin’s runes, and his eight-legged horse, which is the Crimean martial arts, that produced the Parthian shot, that bolstered a Scythian steppe empire.

          8. No Buddha would have been around, had not Scythians trailblazed the steppe, and no Christianity would seen the light of day, had not a Scythian skull cup been brought forth, at the Last Supper, in a bloody toast, that promised a millstone, as a necktie.

          9. In Japan, Zen Buddhism is the traditional way, to pop off the karma wheel, in awakening, from dreams of delusion, when a man becomes a sunflower, all by himself, which is Satori, when mind can travel any path, and radiate into all directions, simultaneously, blowing the 7th fuse.

Hindi cinema is most curious, in how narratives, in theatrical performances, are paused, by song and dance intermissions, as if they carried out a REM function, emulating a sleeping pattern.

When movie studios seek, to literally crawl under the skin of audience, to correlate stimulus and affect, it becomes more about industry, and less about exploring an artistic vision.

Industrial consumer societies don’t give pause, to think and absorb, and entertainment becomes fastfood in a treadmill, that reduces the voice of the land, being able to express itself.

A professional bard speaks forests, mountains and water streams, and gives voice to nature, so that nature may speak, through the bard, as a medium.

. . . And there’s that later day techno-drama of “Quincy,” the alien supercomputer, attempting to steer the hybrids as global militaries engage the threat. Quincy imposes during the sleep cycle as well as waking cycle throughout the day – or more sinisterly, on a whim.

In Europe, Jewish royalty is living on borrowed time, because parasitic pretenders will be subconsciously expelled, from the collective dream. That is how nature works, dreaming away.

It is only, by repetitious gaslighting, that Jewish royalty can avoid being dissolved, in the collective digestion system, and excreted. Odin is definitely a laxative, the beer god of passing water.

Gaslighting, or neuro-linguistic programming, is what Hollywood is about, fabricating collective dreams for sheep, and Japanese paper tigers are running a Hollywood proxy.

In horror movies, Nosferatu wants to crawl under anyone’s skin, which is why Scythians invented the skull cup, to scare Judas.
