It was interesting how when Hamas started attacking Israel that anything on the Ukraine-Russia conflict took a back seat as far as media attention went.

We should also recall that ‘Faux News’ reporter Jennifer Griffin, and who is a national security correspondent for the Deep State, chastised retired Army Col. Douglas Macgregor on-air after he claimed Ukraine was about to be defeated by invading Russian forces in the early build-up to the conflict. It was well known at the time the Ukraine with its mentally crippled ‘leader’ needed to negotiate for an immediate surrender instead of ‘dancing’ around the inevitable conclusion.

Col. Macgregor, who served as a senior advisor under former President Donald Trump, and who frequently appeared on Fox [Faux] News programs, including Tucker Carlson’s show, discussed Russia’s invasion of the Ukraine. For giving his straightforward analysis, Col Macgregor received backlash from both Democrats and Republicans for daring to take a stance favorable toward Russia and its President Vladimir Putin. In multiple interviews, Macgregor confidently predicted that the conflict would end with Russia “annihilating” Ukrainian forces. One such interview, with Carlson, was aired on Russia’s state-controlled TV.

Remember on Feb 1, 2022, Tucker Carlson defended Moscow’s buildup of troops along the border with Ukraine in a stark departure from the “tough-on-Russia” posture that has long defined the Republican Party.

What people don’t understand is that Ukraine had positioned a 60k invasion force outside the Donbass and was preparing to move in
Russia’s incursion was to preempt that move.
But THAT gets no play in the mainstream media.

Actually the 60k force might have been aimed at completely cutting off Crimea to starve it out.
