A STRANGE WEEK FOR NEWS #3: MEDVEDEV, NUKES, AND BAI DEN DZHAO
Well, to round out this strange week of very odd news stories, I want once again to talk about former Russian prime minister and president, Dmitri Medvedev, and his recent comments on (here it comes) what used to be Twitter and is now "X". Again, our thanks to G.B. for spotting and sharing this one, because once again Mr. Medvedev has raised the issue of the American nuclear football, and the dangers of having it under the control of a hair-sniffing, young-woman-groping, influence peddling, grifting, senescent, demented, grifting, and even under the best of circumstances bumbling clown, Bai Den Dzhao. (Note to Mssrs. Xi and Zelensky: the next time you pick an American politician to corrupt, could you at least pick someone that is reasonably intelligent, competent, and with some residual sense of honour and shame?)
Mr. Medvedev is also having not only a bit of fun, but raising a very serious issue, and in the process, pulling back the veil just a bit, and it's that pulling back of the veil, along with the timing of his post, that has me wondering. Here's his "tweet":

There's something here that caught my eye and it has to deal with that "pulling back of the veil", and it leads me to include this tweet as "Part Three" of our strange week of strange news. Notice what Mr. Medvedev says here:
A few week ago, the world was watching, practically in real time, a brilliant special services’ operation in the US territory. The operation started in Pentagon, then continued in a hospital. Unexpectedly for all, including his elderly boss, the US minister of defense suddenly fell off the map. The former probably wouldn’t have noticed at all unless the public had been alarmed. Like, where is our Commander? And so, speculations followed. The main nuclear briefcase, containing the Minuteman and Tomahawk missiles’ codes, where was it? In the surgery room with the minister, or went somewhere on its own…? Being a US defense minister looks fun. It’s all up to you, you disappear from radar, and go back again if you wish. Getting well is good enough! And the nuclear codes are kind of (or aren’t they?) once again in safe hands. Everything is under control, according to the rules and doctrines. All they had to say in the White House was, well, there was some problem. That we hadn’t been contacted… As for the rest, it’s a shitty question.
Mr. Medvedev goes on to note what everyone else is noting, namely, that Mr. Bai Den Dzhao likes to talk to world leaders who are dead, like the late French President Francois Mitterand.
But what captures my attention here is not only the timing of this announcement, but how Mr. Medvedev starts it off. Let's take the timing issue first. Mr. Medvedev dropped this "little" comment after the event it is commenting upon, but before the most recent drop of the special council who investigated the issue of Bai Den Dzhao's possession of classified documents and their illegal storage in his garage. You'll recall that in that report, it was recommended that no prosecution be persued, for the simple reasons that Bai Den Dzhao is such a mental wreck that he is in no position to stand trial competently.
Or to put it in non-legalese, he's just not competent to stand trial...for anything.
The attempt of the Grifter-in-Chief to set the record straight in a press conference was - as we all know by now - a complete disaster, for while being righteously indignant about his dead son Beau, and how dare "they" raise that issue, he completely forgets the name of the parish supposedly holding rosary services for him. It was - family and personal history notwithstanding - a rather sad moment, and one could not help but feel at least some sympathy for the shambling wreck of what was once one of the most powerful dons in the US Senate.
The timing of Medvedev's drop, coming between these two embarrassing incidents - the Secretary of Defense's hospitalization and lack of notification to the White Out House, and the special report recommending no prosecution of Bai Den Dzhao for illegal possession of classified documents - suggests that at some level Mr. Medvedev probably knew not only of the impending release of the report but also of its contents, namely, its no-prosecution recommendation.
Why do I say this?
Because note what else Mr. Medvedev said right at the very beginning of his tweet, and it's a wonderfully Russian thing to say: "A few week ago, the world was watching, practically in real time, a brilliant special services’ operation in the US territory. The operation started in Pentagon, then continued in a hospital." (Emphasis added)
Wait a minute. Say what? "A special services' operation" on "US territory"? Whose special services, Mr. Medvedev?
Well, he doesn't say. All he implies is that it was someone's "special services", i.e., intelligence, operations. So, let's dive into some high octane speculation here. First, we assume that Mr. Medvedev might not be telling the truth, and that there was no special services operation. So why mention it at all? Simple: you mention it because you want to plant that idea of doubt that it might have been, and worse, that it might have been Russian. So secondly, we assume that Mr. Medvedev is telling the truth. So then the question becomes, whose special operation was it? Possibility A is that it was someone's operation within the intelligence-political community of the USSA. What was the purpose? Obviously to cast the Bai Den Dzhao regime in as incompetent a light as possible. If so, again, the operation appears to have been successful if that was the objective. Possibility B is even worse: what if it was Russia's "special operation", an operation that was contrived to severe communications between the Pentagram and the White Out House by whatever means, the interception and non-delivery of the notification from the Pentagon to the White Out House that the Secretary of Defense was going to be in the hospital. On that view, the White Out House was telling the truth when it said it did not know where he was because it never received the normal notification.
If that sounds far-fetched, go back to 9/11 and the reports that someone had phoned the White Out House and revealed their apparent possession of highly classified code names, a bit of information that led some - including this author - to speculate that the reason Schrubb junior had to travel to Barksdale Air Force Base, and then on to Offut Air Force Base, was to reassert personal presidential control over America's nuclear arsenal, and that on a day when there were drills being conducted with that very same nuclear arsenal. Recall too that the junior Schrubb's only phone call to a world leader that day was to...you guessed it... Russian President Vladimir Putin.
So perhaps Mr. Medvedev is suggesting yet a third possibility, namely, that whoever made those phone calls that day, they are still around, and are still actors on the stage.
His question is legitimate: who really does command America's nuclear arsenal? Can we really accept that it's Bai Den Dzhao? And for that matter, was that control restored to presidential control on 9/11? Howsoever one answers that question, it is both significant and extremely disturbing that a leading member of the Russian Federation's national security counsel is expressing, once again, doubts over the control of that arsenal, and the apparent chain of command over it. It is significant that, when pressed by Tucker Carlson during his recent interview of the Russian President himself, that Mr. Putin, after indicating that there was some sort of hidden group acting behind the figurehead of Bai Den Dzhao, he did not know who it was.
Or at least, he was unwilling to state who it was.
For my money, I suspect he, and Mr. Medvedev, know, or at least strongly suspect, their identity.

BTW, it is confusing, to speak about runes in 9th century BC, so the term “proto-runes” is more appropriate, because the alphabetical version is dated to the 1st century BC, which was the result of Scythians having served, in the Roman military, where literacy was required for a military career.

The sad reality is if the Russians were in control of the nuclear football we could all sleep a whole safer in peace. Unfortunately, not knowing who is in control of what we are looking at is a worse nightmare.
According to native born and living sources of the former Soviet Union now present Russian Federation and The Ukraine it was Putin who initiated the call to Bush on 9/11 in hopes of developing a relationship to battle international terrorism. The Kremlin had problems accepting the Chechen push toward independence. For some of the Russian elite, the Kremlin, “terrorism equals separatism,” and the one thing they did not want at that time was a domino effect of former states seeking independence by way of “the right and freedom to self-determination.”
Putin began his ascent to the Russian presidency by way of first becoming prime minister in August 1999, replacing a reluctant predecessor failing to prosecute a second Chechen War against internal militants of Chechnya, to unite the Russian populace toward common goals away from a simi-failed democratization under Yeltsin. That was the banner line used even though others within Russian circles investigating those four apartment building bombings in three Russian cities in September 1999 suspected a soviet version of a false flag to instigate a change back toward Soviet era governance. The Kremlin conveniently blamed the Chechen rebels as the most likely culprits. The Rus apparently had their building 7 phenomena, too.
The handling of those issues and additional terrorist activities involving hostages, as messy as they were, gained Putin some notoriety for his eventual assignment to President and later re-election to President.
In any case, most things coming out of the Kremlin are meant to be [messy] so as to promote plausible deniability and a substantial amount of doubt amongst sources. Typical of propagandization tactics. The least to expect from the Silovik in charge. Medvedev hearsay is also typical from one who’s educated in law and knows his way around national security matters and has worked under Putin. He’s very much part of the planning these days.
That stealth continues to work and throws off adversarial types is a good thing. The Siloviki and oligarchs know something of this better now.
Medvedev has sophisticated humour, well knowing, that trenched minds won’t get the point, whereas those, whose minds are more transcendent, understand the joke.
Americans are carrying out operations, against eachother, and they don’t need an outer enemy, when factional infighting is going on, except to divert attention.
A house divided won’t stand, and media-hyped attempts, to produce a unifying boogeyman, won’t hold together a union of states, that is falling apart at the seams.
Secession is another word, for a passionate divorce, defaming a most hated and despised spouse, with great satisfaction etc.
And “they” would be, the Russians mortal enemies: Nazis.
No matter the so-called variety[DC., The Ukrainians, South Americans, etc., etc.];

Hence, where all this governance is headed: space.
