“ODDYSEUS” LANDS ON THE MOON… BUT…

(...and yes, I intended the "misspelling", but to find out why, keep reading...)

This story was spotted by T.M., and it's rather timely for our purposes as I just finished doing an interview on Mr. Richard C. Hoagland's podcast The Other Side of Midnight just this past weekend.  One of the topics of discussion was the fact that a private American space company has become the first private company to land a spacecraft on the lunar surface since... well, believe it or not, Apollo 17.  You may be thinking, "Wait a minute! What about L-Cross?"  You may remember that one. L-Cross was NASA's experiment to literally fire a satellite into the south lunar pole... and then photograph and do advanced spectrometry of the ejecta cloud from an orbiting platform to detect water and other valuable resources. In short, L-Cross does not count as a landing because it was not a soft landing. L-Cross was more like a "rod of God" experiment. (By the way, if you were following that story, and all the hype NASA put out about it ["You'll be able to see the impact with the naked eye! Get ready folks!"], the event was ...well... it was a dud. It fizzled, although as Mr. Hoagland pointed out at the time, the peculiar thing was the way it fizzled).

Anyway, here's T.M.'s article about the newest lunar visitor, named aptly enough Oddyseus:

https://arstechnica.com/space/2024/02/a-little-us-company-makes-history-by-landing-on-the-moon-but-questions-remain/

If you've been following all the "planned 'releases'" of information from the goobernemt concerning UFOs - from David Grusch's kabuki theater in front of Congress with his handlers carefully on display behind him, to the attempt to rebrand the term "UFO" itself to "UAP", or the attempt to avoid real discussion of secret space programs and this most recent self-evident attempt at narrative control - then you'll be aware that some in the "community" are arguing that we're getting close to "disclosure". I beg to differ. If you've been following the US goobernment's narratives in other areas - the lone nut narratives surrounding the infamous assassinations of the 1960s, the weapons of mass destruction narrative of post-9/11 invasion of Iraq fame (which as I have also argued may have been true, but in an entirely different way than was maintained publicly) or the current attempts to redefine words like "insurrection," "vaccine", or even "man" or "woman" - then it becomes abundantly clear that the goobernment claims not only universal and immediate jurisdiction, but like the papacy which it seems increasingly to mimic, infallibility ex cathedra et ex consensu ecclesiae or, in this case, ex et sine consensu populi as well and developing a whole arsenal of casuistical "dodges" of inconveniences in the historical record to maintain the claims to power. Expecting it to change its public mind and narrative from one of space secrecy and narrative control to one of "disclosure" I think is a bit of wishful thinking.

So... some are arguing about this landing being highly symbolic of what privatization of space and such private ventures might mean. It might mean the end of secrecy surrounding the cover-up of space anomalies indicating an intelligent and ancient presence on celestial bodies in this solar system. It might therefore also mean the end of secrecy concerning related matters: is "anyone else" out there? Are they in contact with some of us? and if so, what has been the result of that contact?

I can take their point: with more and more private players entering the space race and landing (or crashing) things on the Moon or Mars, and snapping pictures, monolithic narratives will go the way of the Dodo bird. In this respect Mr. Hoagland made a very intriguing and I think very valid point during our discussion on his podcast: Elon Musk. Mr. Musk (and a few other billionaire busybodies) have made no secret about wanting to start - literally - space tourism, with "lunar cruises" and so on. Imagine, then, looking down on the Moon with your binoculars or other magnification technology, coupling that to your I-phone, and taking videos of what you're seeing, and beaming it back in real time via all those 4G and 5G networks that Germany and other countries have announced they want to build on the Moon. One would no longer be able to explain the anomalies away (and anyone who has taken a careful look at pictures from the lunar surface will, I think, at least agree that there are strange things aplenty to see on the lunar surface. One does not need to buy into this or that theory of what they may be (or, for that matter, who put them there), the fact is, they're there, and Mr. Hoagland's point is that with such increased traffic, it will become increasingly difficult for more and more people not to see them. The narrative "we're alone and all those strange things are just tricks of light and shadow" will finally be put to rest, and in a way for all to see.

...but...

Privatization also means something else, and it's a point that was made by many in the Ufology community in response to President Nixon's alleged handling of the issue. If one is familiar with the MAJIC-12 or MAJESTIC-12 documents regarding the establishment of a super secret goobernment UFO study group by that name, one will be aware that the Cooper-Cantwheel set of documents contains some papers claiming that President Nixon effectively disbanded the group, and allegedly turned all of its papers and archives over to private corporations. In effect, the documents maintain that sometime at the height of his presidency, the entire "UFO file" was privatized. now many - including this author - have suspicions about the Cooper-Cantwheel set of documents, but I'm willing to consider that, while the documents might be forgeries or hoaxes, their information content might not be (only someone familiar with the somersaulting nonsense of biblical criticism would draw a distinction between documents and text, but it's a crucial distinction, and one that many MAJIC-12  interpreters on both sides of the issue tend to ignore). The bottom line is, texts can pre-exist the documents containing them. The question then becomes, do the texts and the concepts embodied in them as represented by putative documents, make sense? and, is the text an authentic copy of the original, or are there internal signs of alteration of the text? I'm not going to rehash all the arguments pro and con for the MAJIC-12 Cooper-Cantwheel set of documents (or for that matter, the Old or New Testament manuscripts) here.

My point in raising the issue is just to remind everyone of the idea that Mr. Nixon is alleged to have privatized the UFO issue and to have taken the UFO study group out of the goobernmental chain of command decades ago. What was his alleged motivation for doing so, according to some of the advocates of that theory? Very simple: to maintain even tighter UFO secrecy by allowing any information corporations my recover or develop in that connection to be proprietary. So with all of the corporations involved in the scramble to get into space, one may be looking at the end of a monolithic narrative, to be sure. But that does not equate to the beginning of space transparency. It might mean that the truth of the matter recedes even further, into corporate narratives that are little more than broken off shards of a truth, mixed in with even more shards that don't even come from the original broken vessel at all.

And finally, there's the name of this little probe itself: Odysseus. I imagine that like most of you who read the article thought immediately of Homer's epic poem, The Odyssey, the ten year journey of the King of Ithaca from the Trojan war back to his homeland. Why the name Odyseus? Honestly, I don't know. Like all the other weirdnesses concerning space and symbolism, I highly doubt the choice of that name for the probe was accidental.

But really... c'mon Homer. Ten years to travel from Asia Minor back to Greece? even with the galleys of the era, it's a voyage that should have taken a few weeks at best. But ten years?  Then there was all the "stuff" that Odysseus encountered along the way, Cyclops and so on. He might as well have called it the Oddyssey.

And that may be the point. Mr. Hoagland pointed out, when I raised the issue, that the little probe took its dear sweet time traveling to the Moon, and once in orbit, took even more time before being landed. An odyssey of sorts that is a rather odd oddyssey. For Mr. Hoagland, the journey was the "return home", with the Moon itself being "home", the symbolic "Ithaca" in this instance. But what if it wasn't? what if it was, so to speak, The Iliad component of the story, and what if it's actually a kind of Trojan horse. What if it was named Odysseus because a return voyage is in the mix at some distant future time?

At this stage, I think it's best to keep all hypotheses and options open. And wait for it: watch for international space conventions to start talking or mentioning proprietary rights over "archaeological" finds... It's already been studied but watch for an even stronger impetus now.

See you on the flip side...

The Odysseus mission can be sumed up and categorized as another NASA and Friends “Space Oddity” rather than resembling an exciting chapter out of the Illiad.
The mission was over hyped and the fact that Odysseus broke a leg or two on the Lunar landing stage adds to the ruse and deception!

At this moment, I have to ask, “Where is my fedora hat, my whip and my Yale alumnus ring?”

Get Dr. Marcus, Brody, and let’s try to stay a few steps ahead of the Nazis.

This latest update on status of Odysseus is very interesting.
    https://www.space.com/intuitive-machines-odysseus-lander-images-update-lro

How very convenient the EagleCam was not released by Odysseus before landing on the Lunar surface. So no photos yet.
Whether EagleCam ever gets deployed and starts taking photos of the Moon which will be released to the public is the question!
Seems like more ruses and deception.

What’s more interesting to me are your remarks about modern biblical criticism. I’d like to hear more from Dr Farrell about this subject. Any opinions about Joe Atwill’s “Caesar’s Messiah”?

The Scythians were a threat, to the Roman Empire, both militarily and ideologically, which is, why the Vatican seeks, to control, suppress, and draw attention, away from Scythian Crimea.

A fallen Samaria rose again, in Scythian Crimea, and its ideological narrative is contained, within the runic rebus, which technically is an IQ-test, added to the patriarchal blessing.

The war in the Ukraine is a NATO crusade, attempting to control Crimea, to prevent the Scythian narrative from spreading, because it contradicts the imperial “divine right of kings” doctrine.

The gospel hero was a Scythian mandate, by skull cup, in support of republic, which imperial Rome sought to obstruct, by counter-intelligence.

BTW, Yahweh, as an idea, represents the gathering of reason, which is a republic, and Hezekiah’s endorsement, of that idea, is the rapprochement in Crimea, that ended the patriarchal dispute, in the early 7th century BC.

Roman transition, from republic to empire, needed the 10th century Hollywood reign of David and Solomon, as a precedent, which is why the idea of Yahweh became suppressed, to promote the “divine right of kings” doctrine, in Rome.

Identifying Elohim and Yahweh, as originally being logic and reason, is to wipe the floor, with the Vatican termites, whose imperial Hollywood depends on keeping plebs docile, in a starstruck worship of propped-up idols.

The word “messiah” literally implies eau de cologne, which is just a marketing brand, selling a fantasy idol, in a Roman Hollywood cult.

There’s now a potential mission to go where “Odysseus” landed and tilted over to right its position. Next time with a little more maneuverability on descent to avoid what seems to have been a [top-heavy] imbalance. Maybe the calculations of Moon gravity were not quite right as its descent was a little faster than expected.
The slender 14-foot-high lander, although tipped over and leaning, is at least partly functional if only in a limited capacity. Makes one wonder which way the cameras are pointing and how movable they are. Probably will have to wait until the next Sun rise on that portion of the Moon. Kudos for “Intuitive machines,” another private space faring company for getting to the Moon.

  7. rohat77 on February 26, 2024 at 8:14 pm

Why not mention that the craft tipped over on it’s side while landing and is barely receiving the sunlight it needs to function?

Great points made by Dr. Farrell. Maybe Richard C. will get credit one day for his contributions, also.

All we are good for is paying for these expeditions they will never tell us what they found it’s all private information bought and paid for by us for their private profit. Say hello to the New East India Companies’ new tech but the same old results.

It’s now being reported that Odysseus landed on its side, or fell over after touchdown. The solar panels are out of position and not adjustable, and the lander only has a few days before it loses power. https://www.theverge.com/2024/2/26/24083973/odysseus-lunar-lander-tipped-over-intuitive-machines
The navigation camera malfunctioned, so I don’t know if they actually got many hi-res photos on the way down to the surface.

When reading articles on the moon; especially those close to the mainstream media currents, expect a more “sanitized” version supporting as many agreed-upon-narratives as possible.
That’s why Dr. Joseph Farrell & Mr. Richard C Hoagland, are analogous to prescriptive lenses; when trying to focus on a sharper image of the Moon.
My own frame on the Moon, as with “space” in general; is that “they” want to own it all – privatize it.
[Or, as the Russians boil it down; Grabitize it all, including Earth[As Earth is part of space].

And, I’m just get sick; of all the language and rebranding nomenclature changes, the masters of the universe are imposing on their unfortunate deplorables. What “they” should be concerned about is that some power wants to own the Moon; especially the South Pole. Where they could launch all manor of havoc on Earth. Basically become the shot callers concerning the policies of Earth. The instrument of legalizing this takeover is simple: possession is 9/10 of the law. Or, as the USSA major policy mantra: Might Makes Right.

And, how far back is the proprietary ownership of “space” information go back? To plasma discoveries? To UFO discoveries? To alien discoveries. To ancient history of man discoveries? To ancient visitation of extraterrestrials? Anything and everything that should be shared; hogged by the pigs in control of mankind’s, past/present & future?
Does then, the Moon becomes; but more one stepping stone, upon which to rule over man?
To own Him, and His space[both outer and inter/ and all dimensions thereof]?

What may happen on the Moon may be done in violence; yet become obfuscated to a narrative of peaceful acts.
How do we know what happens; or, indeed what has happened on the Moon.
    Near side/far side?
The people who own the narratives -are not saying.
Truth is – “they can’t handle the truth.
Because the truth; is frankly, quite dangerous to their rule over man.
Or, is man a symbolic Cyclops, without law & order – RULERS.
One-eyed – but fortunately being led by those 1% with foresight.
[via super computers, inhabited by the mythological creature, an algorithmic AI]
Whatever that long journey represents, it is certainly chalk-full of something that smells unholy.

I’m with Michael UK on this. Fishy business with the photos. Ive looked every day for photos and IM is dishing out shots from orbit, fisheye shots highly distorted (like their mission disclosure info), and nothing. Friday at 2:15 i heard an interview with prof at Embry-Riddle who helped design the EagleCam supposed to be ejected during descent to video the landing. Says he’s looking forward to seeing the video and photos. Friday night i hear “the decision was made” to not eject the EagleCam. So- did they see something on the moon that “shouldn’t be there” and just say they decided not to launch the camera? And like JAXA that delayed for a week the photos of its SLIM lander doing a headstand on the moon, IM has been in blackout mode on photos of it’s lander. Probably looks like a drunk teenager wrapped it around a boulder in a parking mishap. And on the subject of The Iliad, some of the Greeks en route to Troy stopped at Erithrae on the west coast of Asia Minor and consulted the sibyl there – who said they would be victorious and that Homer would tell lies. So it looks like IM is in lying mode, like Homer. First they said it was upright and on the moon. Days later – maybe it tripped or a strut broke and its leaning against a rock and has some antennas in the dirt. What next? It’s always – Never A Straight Answer. And that UFO -UAP thing? What a muddy-the-water name, uap. Who cares about aerial phenomena? Weathermen? And weatherwomen? We care about flying objects. UAP is yet another way the govt/military says – we don’t know what we’re seeing! The smokescreen-fog machine around UFOs continues. Data will be privatized, owned, monetized, and weaponized.

Odysseus is the architect, behind the Trojan horse, which is a sting operation, and his long journey home is his moral hangover, which is an acknowledgement, that a flag of truce had been abused.

Troy, at the mouth of the Dardanelles, was, where British ingots were offloaded, and, Greek mercenaries were paid, by Egypt, and Egypt was blackmailed, by Assyrian oligarchy pulling strings.

Herodotus begins his long story, by stating, that casus belli was disputed, and then he extrapolates from there, which makes him a revisionist, writing between the lines, to counter official lies.

Officially, Troy fell, by a Greek hand, at the end of the Bronze Age, whereas, unofficially, she fell during the Scythio-Assyrian war, in the middle of the 7th century BC.

    Dear NASA & Co,
you know what? I don’t care. Land your freakin‘ space thingie in the vicinity of one of the Apollo sites and prove once and for all you have been there. Then I’ll pay attention. Maybe.

I suspect that Odysseus will have many opportunities to display his talent for ruses and deceptions on the Lunar surface.
There was a camera onboard, not yet released on to the Lunar surface (EagleCam) and no images have been released yet.
There was also another camera on board for navigation and landing purposes (Terrain Relative Navigation camera). It took thousands of high definition images before the landing. Hardly any released. Both cameras privately operated.
