      Robert,

You have to assume installing the most deranged psychopaths into the Ukranian opposition is the west’s plan with the hope of turning the Ukraine into a ruined Syria and a can of worms for Russia. They did just that with el qaida in Syria and got away with it. Why not try it with neo-nazis in the Ukraine and see if the the American tv viewers will swallow this as well (and pay for it)?

That being said, after reading the article I have to wonder if this violent far right opposition party and its call to “kill j**s and Russians” is actually a creation of the KGB and a co-opting of the rebel movement. Putin may be thinking no American could support a rebel force that wants to “kill j**s,” no matter how Fox news spins it. This may be gladio’s third rail. It would also give Putin the green light to invade Ukraine considering how loathsome these fascist are. There is no shill in the west, not even John McCain, who would champion violent anti-semites (actors/KGB assets) and maintain their career intact. The leader’s biography also gave me the sense that he could have been a Russian made Timothy McVeigh. Moreover, they were quite organized with with well stitched fascist insignia on their new uniforms. Clearly they were waiting in the wings for this event.

This is probably a stretch, I know, but it would only be Putin, the master chess player, stealing a move from the west and co-opting the rebel movement, so it is in the realm of possibility. I could even picture a not so dutiful German intelligence offering the CIA to arm and support this fascist cell well knowing it will blow up in the US’s face.

Just a thought. I suspect though it just more craziness from the anglosphere.

Of course there is a deep “game” ongoing here. The techint side shows to win; the sigint side cashes in; the humint side actually called the shots. I suspect the Russians are masters herein; the Nazis footprint can’t be erased. Still it’s a dangerous game: every gain in power, every mastery of natural forces, every scientific additions to knowledge, has proven potentially dangerous, because it has not been accompanied by equal gains in self-awareness & self-discipline. As Alexis Carrel put it/Civilization is a disease which is almost invariably fatal.

    Managerial Technocrat’s modus operendi:

    For agrarian societies

Stage 1) Conflict to kill off as many natural alpha males as possible and create nation states.
Stage 2) Violently introduce communism to destroy landed aristocracy, remaining non military alpha males (all potential resistors) and forcefully industrialize (you really think Stalin was stupid?).
Stage 3) Introduce bureaucratic sociological controls, education, propaganda, mass media, social marketing etc.

Stage 4) Create and back minority fascists to introduce ‘reform’ under guise of democracy, destroy socialist state elites and strongmen, decentralize state, ‘rationalize’ state assets, dissolve military into local security apparatus and integrate into wider economic zones.
Stage 5) Globalism, free trade, open borders and economic rationalism.

    Ukraine is at stage 4.

Russia is in on the act (it will head the Central Asian Economic Zone) and it used the same methods in Eastern Europe, the creation of the Stans and in Chechenia, Georgia and Kyrgyzystan.

KGB defector Anatoliy Golitsyn spelled it all out 40 years ago.

worth noting is some Ukrainen paaranoid rabbi(t) has popped out of his hole too shepherd his ewes to get out as they will be targeted (why would anyone target them?) by the local fascist right wing made up bankster backed group too bring this about whilst also a coincidence that merkel is involved in a child porn crisis.
another parasitical grab, nothing more….pop goes the Jaque de Monay weasel.

Dr Farrell: … unless the imposition of sanctions on the Ukraine would be a tool to flush out the Western infiltrators. “Sanctions” have a way of backfiring and inspiring the use of real metal money in trade … just look at Iran and her new role in China’s gold-backed trade settlement system. (Per Jim Willie)

according to what I heard on German MSM radio this morning an agreement has been met with protesters and Ukrainian gov’t; IF true, am not sure what’s yet behind it- guess only time will tell-

    Larry in Germany

  5. DanaThomas on February 21, 2014 at 4:17 am

As Frankie comments, in these hours the issue seems to be in Germany. So far the information and political double-talk given out has been more heavily obfuscated than usual. For example these mooted “sanctions” would “also” be levied against the violent “opposition” groups.
Anyway, today (Friday Feb. 21st) the duo Steinmeyer-Sikorski are supposed to come up with a proposal.
If Germany goes along with and/or tries to “piggyback” the current Gladio assault in Kiev (or was them all along???), it would be hard not to see it as a classic “Drang nach Osten” move. However, at the end of the day (it may be a pretty long day) we might still well see the Russo-German alignment that Joseph has been discussing.

  6. DaphneO on February 20, 2014 at 9:34 pm

I’ve been looking all over, trying to get a true picture of what’s going on now. I’m thinking these sanctions are not necessarily what Merkel wants?

And I came across this video with Amy Goodman (who I never trust) interviewing Steven Cohen. What he says is not really agreeable to Amy, but he presses on. Excellent video I believe.

I may have made a brief comment on the lines of asking if anybody here had heard about “First Look Media”. The reason is that this new “expensive” media venture appears, to me, to be a RottenChilds creature – featuring Glen Greenwald(who I followed and originally “liked”) & Jeremy Scahill(again who I followed and originally liked). Of course, I originally followed Amy Goodwin, liked her when she slammed Tom Brokaw[whom I loathe]. But then she “turned?”, and is now a creature of “Hypocrisy Now”.
Saddened to say that Matt Taibbi is leaving Rolling Stone for the $$$ First Look $$$. Why not? This organization does, at first look, look like the “white hats”. But, like all these kind of things, they round-up the cattle, steer them into to the “group-think” corrals, and brand them to the “MOVE em’ IN, MOVE em’ OUT” meme mentality society.

The journalist get credentialed by doing right, and then are themselves slowly…?

Prompted to write by this new First Look addition. Though I still like Matt; I hope he turns them, instead of the other way around.

    • terminally skeptical on February 21, 2014 at 4:37 am

It’s fascinating to see how the “white hat’s” get massaged and managed into a position of compromise perhaps unbeknownst to themselves. They get rewarded handsomely for pontificating and along the way the ego gets a pleasant bump, self assured that they must be doing the right thing. Like you I still hold Matt Taibbi in good regard but my guard is up now since after all I’m, well, terminally skeptical (were I a media guru I think “they” would corral me too along with my “like” followers). The human creature never stray’s too far, too long, from the herd, does it? haha. In varying degrees we’re all dittoheads at the watering hole.

Here’s another example of subtle shifts in reporting: Paul Craig Roberts, whom I admire, opined in a recent blog that the Ukrainians have apparently overtaken Americans as the dumbest people in the world because the protestors are blind to who is instigating the belligerence and the long term ramifications of an alignment with these covert U.S. forces. PCR I respectfully disagree. You are judging the many by the actions of a few rebels moreover committing an error of omission by suggesting sizable numbers of “western Ukrainians” support these protests. Deliberate or unwitting, this is an example of stealth reporting where the perpetrators are accurately recognized yet the number of their supporters is exaggerated. PCR then too has inadvertently become a propagandist tool in his depiction of the Ukrainian sentiment. The stealth refers to the Trojan Horse effect where the message slips in under the mental radar that this rebellion is a mass movement. IMO It isn’t.

Robert I’ll use this opportune moment of mutual accordance to say thanks again for your various links and musings. I haven’t the time to peruse them all but the color of your hat is never in question.

Also, there is some mischief here lately and an apparent attempt to compromise the GDS website. Two days ago I read a phrase on a stripped down GDS face page that said “we have no bananas today”. Give ’em some credit. At least the spooks are hiring some comedians now.

      • Robert Barricklow on February 21, 2014 at 4:21 pm

Always good to see terminally skeptical living up to his nom de guerre. I’m reading a 1936 travel book Journey Without Maps by Graham Greene/Ane these were the people one had been told by the twisters, the commercial agents, on the coast that one couldn’t trust. “A black will always do you down.” It was no good protesting later that one had not come across a single example of dishonesty from the boys, from the carriers, from the natives in the interior: only gentleness, kindness, an honesty which one would not have found, or at least dared to assume was there, in Europe.
So the meme coined “Wetiko” by Jack D Forbes is no stranger, any longer, where darkness lies. The strategy “they” use is “reverse-projection”: accusing you, of what they, are in fact, guilty of doing. News Talking Heads do it consistently.
Paul Craig Roberts is using sarcasm rather liberally and in heavy doses. One can’t help fathom how he can stomach the mainstream garbage, anymore than anyone that drinks at this water hole. As I’ve often said(imitating Daffy Duck), “E A SY Stomach! E A S Y!

And yes, the spooks are, …well, …spooks. But, some are, though wearing grey hats; still on the side of liberty & what’s right. And some have fallen. And some are faced with doing evil; but making the best of a “no win scenario”. In other words, it’s a crazy world. Or, as the 1963movie title puts it/
It’s A Mad, Mad, Mad World.

This reminds very much of Financial Vipers of Venice, in that there are financial ops within ops; the oligarchs playing at the table, are all in on except one player, the public.
The Law Locks up the hapless felon who steals the goose off thye commons, But lets the Greater Felon Loose who steals the commons from the goose.
For instance, just as air power has evolved from the area bombing of entire cities during WW11 to “precision” drone strikes, so the theory and practice of sanctions has evolved from straight forward blockades into a more ambitious and intricate system known as “conduct-based targeting”, aimed at the economic paralysis of thousands of designated “entities”-people, companies, organizations. And unlike drone strikes, modern economic warfare, as it bends global financial systems to its ends, can blight entire societies, operations well below the radar, frequently justified as a benign alternative to military action.
What then are the modern forms of the Council of Ten, The Grain Office, and other such instruments that the financial oligarchy builds with the essential functions of one. Appearing not to favor oligarchical practices, while pursuing them behind these byzantine instruments.
I submit the game is being played upon the people. To steal the commons(known as public property today), and privatize it(own it all, including you) for the explicit use of the oligarchy.
So these “sides” are of the same coin, be it yellow, white, or black – all coins of one realm – The Oligarchys’ Kingdom.
Hopefully, as has been said, there is in-fighting(not on the objective[unfortunately], but on “super-chiken pecking order”); ANd maybe that will be their downfall.

I think your analysis still holds water, Dr. Farrell, but the real civil war may be in the German government between those politicians working for the CIA versus nationalist politicians who seek an independent course of action for Germany (or possibly even KGB assets?). Too many CIA assets in the German government for them to ever really get off the US reservation. I imagine, like their American counterparts, they have a penchant for bizarre rituals involving children. You always have to admire the chutzpah of these demons when they accuse their political opponents of their very own favorite pastime. I think for the time being, Germany is dancing to the tune of the west, whether Chancellor Merkel likes it or not.

My question is: does the demon anglosphere intend to turn the Ukraine into another Syria? Could they pit ethnic Russians settled in the Ukraine against native Ukrainians? How would Putin react to mass killings of ethnic Russians within the Ukraine? Maybe this is the western trap for Putin? Putin does nothing and loses face, or invade the Ukraine to protect Russians and get Russia bogged down in a civil war and turn Putin into a global media monster and hypocrite (Syria).

The other scenario would be a sectarian war between Ukrainian Catholics and Ukrainian Orthodox or even Orthodox (Russian) versus Orthodox (Ukraine). It would be very convenient if the anglosphere was concerned about a reconciliation between the Catholics and Orthodox. ( It may explain Poland’s meddling). I guess we will find out soon what the west’s intentions are when the car bombs start going off and rival Churches get razed.

It is scary to think that the west may be opting for a scorched earth policy for the Ukraine. I suspect their polls and models have shown them they will lose the Ukraine to the East if left up to a democratic process. Therefore, maybe they have opted to destroy it. Monsanto sure would like a scorched earth policy in the Ukraine. There no longer would be a rival non-GMO bread basket. An all out civil war in the Ukraine would really destabilize Eurasia. And we know how much the anglosphere relies on this tactic in the middle east and Africa to advance their agenda.

I know next to nothing about the Ukraine, so I’m not sure the ethnic or religious divide in that country could even be provoked to a point of civil war by the demons. It seems so obvious that the anti-governmnt forces in the Ukraine are on the CIA’s payroll, that it is hard to imagine the average Ukrainian is not aware of this, but the memory of the oppressive Soviet tyranny must run deep in that country so I don’t blame the reaction of the average Ukrainian who may not be versed in the evil coming from the west.

Also of note, cynically, the one thing the banksters and the Russians continue to agree (collude on) is the high price of crude oil in a planet now awash in dinosaur compost. It seems like the weapon to bring down Putin would be to crash oil prices. I think they have agreed to put their differences aside when it comes to selling crude oil at high prices to the have nots. Sometimes I wonder if all geopolitics and meddling is done with the primary aim of putting a premium on oil and gas. Saber rattling with Iran? Revolutions in Venezuela? Sure is convenient to keep the scarce oil scam going.

    • terminally skeptical on February 21, 2014 at 5:15 am

Rather nuanced really as Angie gives her rendition of Rodney King’s famous “why can’t we all just get along”.

If you want that Russian gas line to stay reliably open then say nice things about Russia or at least make veiled remarks to the press in an ambiguous manner that support the agenda of your new best friend, namely Russia.

Does the mention of possible sanctions favor the U.S. or Russia? The interpretation is obviously in the eye of the beholder and like a clever politician she has delivered the appearance of supporting both.

Also, Bingo! on your assessment of the oil game. Says Putin to Anglo oil says to Putin: “After all, let’s not let our hobbies get in the way of making money.”

    • jedi on February 21, 2014 at 6:32 am

why not just attempt too write Putin out of the script Frankie, and let the Jedi purge each other out of existence. With them out of the way, the sheeps will topple like dominoes.

      • LSM on February 21, 2014 at 8:31 am

        Hi Jedi,

I just recently briefly spoke with my very dear female Russian co-worker (originally from Kazakhstan- oh, hell, how does one spell this name properly!?) about Putin maybe having a traditional Orthodox background and she just laughed her rear off; Putin is not respected (according to her- but is her own personal opinion) in Russia; too many people have too many bad memories about his heading the former KGB and continue to look at him with great scepticism-

so her opinion sort of concludes with your statement “Once a KGB man always a KGB man”; thus am still not convinced the BRICS mov’t is to the benefit of mankind- but only time will tell

isnt that the country where that comedy movie…uh…Borat, and they have the “running” of the j ewe festival every year….hehe.

It is all vanity and vexation…nothing new under the sun. In my neck of the woods, the mayor has figured out the money scam and is personally approving a 500 million dollar revamping of the core area. Just print it, and spend it on building something and they will come. Its debt free economics when you “fissure the figures from the fire”. She is also keeping the usual suspects off of the gravy train with a very unusual selection process.

update: it looks like the ugly ones do wish to stir up violence between the rival Churches in Ukraine along with stirring up ethnic tensions as well:

      Molotov cocktails for churches

The coup has heightened religious tensions in Ukraine, where the majority of Orthodox churches are subordinate to the Moscow Patriarchate, while some pledge loyalty to the Kiev one, established in 1992 and unrecognized by Eastern Orthodox communion.
Inspired by the anti-Russian feeling of the Maidan protests, radical activists have been coming up with all kinds of threats to Orthodox churches under the jurisdiction of the Moscow Patriarchate.
On Tuesday, a group of 10 men arrived at the Diocese of Sumy Ukrainian Orthodox Church to force the clergy to pray for the activists in Ukraine.
“They said they are outraged that the clergy of Sumy diocese are allegedly not praying for the victims of the Maidan,” Itar-Tass reported a statement from the diocese as saying.
Archbishop Eulogy met with one of the men who tried to convince the bishop of the need for joint worship with the Archbishop Methodius of Kiev Patriarchate at the Holy Transfiguration Cathedral.
“Having received clarification that canonical rules do not allow him to do so, the men said that the building of the diocese and the cathedral will be bombarded with Molotov cocktails,” the diocese’s press service said.
In a separate incident on the same day, the entrance to the famous Pochaevsky Monastery in western Ukraine was blocked by activists belonging to the Ukrainian Orthodox Church under the Kiev Patriarchate.
“Around noon, six buses drove up to the monastery,” said the monk. “They blocked the entrance, not letting the pilgrims in, people are alarmed.” The group tried to enter the monastery but were prevented from doing so because of their “aggressive behavior.”
The Kiev Patriarchate eventually had to deny rumors that there was a plan to seize churches of the Moscow Patriarchate.
“The Kiev Patriarchate is not calling for attacks on or for seizures of churches under the jurisdiction of the Moscow Patriarchate. We have been calling on our brothers and sisters in the Moscow Patriarchate to unite into one manorial Orthodox church. That’s why we are not interested in instigating enmity in those we wish to unite with,” the Kiev Patriarchate said in a statement, Interfax reported.

Heres an idea, the farmers should start producing fiat food currency…..in this scenario, the city folks can work away for the people that actually feed them and get rid of the parasite banking middle men.

but…the parasites would just start spraying chemtrails like no tomorrow, and cloud it all too dust so we could be too made too believe that god didnt like that idea.
