    India is the test case.

The governments of the world, front men for the Ponzi central banksters and their worthless debt-money paper, will now try and push this hard the world over as a way to de-legitimize gold as currency. Instead, they’ll push the meme of “barbarous relic” and try and make off with the lot of it, inveterate criminals that they are.

The U.S. did it with FDR because of the FED.
Methinks there are usual suspects[like banksters] stirring up this hornet’s nest.
There’s a signal here somewhere, going somewhere. Pointless.
    Yet, there’s the rub.

Probably just raiding people who are in trouble with their version of the IRS. But Indians are a very domesticated bunch so like domesticated livestock will likely put up with just about anything. Interesting to note Eve that the UN is behind the increased worldwide police force. I was wondering why there were so many more police in my town with a low crime rate than was a necessary robbing the tax payers with higher taxes and stealing their weakly paychecks for any accidental wrong move they make on the road ways.

When you look at the size and numbers of prisons in the US and think of them as future concentration camps for future political dissidents then the massive unconstitutional militarized police force suddenly makes sense.

A great way to increase the police force is to spread fake news of 12 to 15 states reporting gangs of teenagers taking over shopping malls. Three states said loud chairs fell over causing panicked shoppers to run away, another state said someone was banging two pots together.. Two states blamed social media of promoting or predicting of a fight (so more gangs showed up???) Colorado shut down the mall due to two 13 year old girls fighting. Two states blamed food court fights for the chaos. This is such a manufactured fake story line. We are a society with an irrational fear of loud falling chairs. We want and need protection.

Indians love Gold. Even the poorest families in UK have chains of gold stuffed into the waterpipes waiting as a dowry for their daughter(s) (source : Seen it with my own eyes when I was young, they blocked up the whole appartment block “outgoing water” pipe with parcels of gold chains.. absolute madness..)

Aint no one taking that thar gold from their hands.. First Amendment Rights!! Over my DEAD BODY…

I seriously don’t buy this, why? The whole India culture is Gold Gold Gold, they trust gold more than anything else, so basically every household has gold if they can afford it.

If the Government raid rich and powerful upper class, this class themselves powerful enough to influence the government policy making, so forget it.

If the Government raid middle class, these people are more educated, they know how to use law or take to the street for their right.

If the Government raid the lower class, it will cost more for the operation than they may get out from the raid, more or less like – wasting time.

The whole India is not enough police force to deal with their over populated city, Quote: India stares at an abysmal police — population ratio of 106 policemen per one lakh people — less than half of the UN recommended figure of 222. End Quote (http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/) Situation like this, are they really dare to take that chance for a large scale of social riot? They already have gang rape issue, good luck with the gold raid.

This is a good summary. India has been resisting arrogant governments for centuries. And if the Modi government has been persuaded, for whatever reasons, to carry out this mass social engineering experiment, it might well explode in their faces.
As a secondary effect, the social and financial turmoil is JUST the right thing to weaken the BRICS alliance…

As I have said before and will say again .. “People are stupid but not THIS stupid” .. In many cultures they would sooner part with their mother than their gold (and that includes western culture) ..
