Thinking about Moon bases/the latest News from the Nefarium, a few points came to mind. None based on any more than speculation…

Might the proposed robotic/avatar run Russian Moon base in fact be a response to the very possibly as yet unsolved technical problems (mostly radiation and lift capability related) involved in getting people to the Moon?

Might it even (stretching it) be to do with our having been warned off manned landings?

Might the fact that the Russians are doing it be a reflection of their more developed space (especially heavy lift) capability?

Might it be that the Russian and the US public and black space programmes ultimately answer to the same elite, that while apparently competing they are (and always have been) actually co-ordinated aspects of a single plan?

Might public pronouncements on these matters only be about manipulating public opinion and expectations? That they are either to ‘soften us up’ for something, or to divert our focus from something else?

It’s a field in which it’s next to impossible from this distance to know what the realities are.

What seems clear is that something changed after the 70s that caused an end to public talk of Moon visits, although the possible reasons range from the relatively banal (unsolved tech problems) to the more incredible. (ETs etc)

It’s normal to presume that the technical problems associated with getting men to the Moon were solved long ago, but there’s a number of objections that get quoted to justify the view that the Moon landings never happened.

‘Dark Moon: Apollo and the Whistleblowers’ by Mary Bennett (among others) makes a strong (but not necessarily definitive) case for this before heading off into a more esoteric but still potentially for real take on the subject.

There’s more, but at least three basic objections were treated in detail:

    1. The thin aluminium (forced by limited lift capability) spacecraft supposedly used couldn’t protect their occupants against radiation in the Van Allen belts – meaning that sending men beyond lower earth orbit was and remains if not a death sentence (it is if the Sun misbehaves at the same time) at least a certain cause of significant health problems.

Yet there’s (apparently) never been any sign of the quite large population of Apollo astronauts suffering health issues…

    2. The photos supposedly returned from the Moon were of suspiciously perfect quality, and contained widespread lighting and shadow anomalies – both suggestive a studio set-up. The publicly recognised astronauts likewise having only been to low Earth orbit

    3. The essentially German core of the programme had form from the 1930s of utilising film and related material to simulate genuine technical achievements to enlist large scale state support.

There’s various more detailed arguments outlined too to do with the types of cameras used, problems with lubricating surfaces in a vacuum, and inability to protect film from radiation etc etc.

One hypothesis is that the UFO scares of WW2 and the early 50s were (enabled by the setting up of various black agencies under the new secrecy enabling laws) utilised to leverage the diversion of enormous funds to a covert (and secretly co-ordinated US and Russian) programme with the stated aim of building the ability to respond to a perceived ET threat – but that radiation levels, development issues which held the Saturn rocket’s motors well below their claimed thrust and limited US lift capability stymied the US programme. (kept it in low earth orbit)

That’s not to say that there was not a Moon landing – there’s a suggestion that the more evolved Russian heavy lift capability assisted (think the Soyuz/Apollo ‘docking’ missions) in getting a high risk secret military expedition there, and likely to bring back some samples.

Another view is that we were warned off the Moon, that there is an ET presence on the dark side.

Perhaps even/also remnants of visitations by earlier advanced human civilisation (think of the crystal ruins held by some to exist there) – there’s those that suggest that Atlantis had this capability.

Or earlier ‘builder’ races who some argue actually moved the Moon (originally a dead small world from far away) into place to establish the required energetic conditions for the evolution of self aware life on Earth. (which reputedly explains the very ancient rocks also reputedly found there)

It’s even possible that the enormous funds released and also raised by nefarious means were diverted into a secret programme which developed at least minimal capability using possibly spinning disc anti-gravity principles back engineered from recovered UFOs. Which of it’s nature also solves the radiation problem.

Who knows what the reality might be?

What does seem clear is that a large scale secret programme (using the compartmentalisation and need to know principles which kept the Manhattan project secret) could well have deceived (and be continuing to deceive given the scale of black funds sloshing about without oversight) many that worked within the programme as well as the general public – and that if even a fraction of the more ‘way out there’ possibilities hold water that there’s some very big secrets we’ve not been told about….

saw this today. talk about break away civies and black opped tech.

also running across ideas from quinn michaels regularly. he’s convinced and convincing that their are numerous accelerator rings and they have multiple uses, the first of which is to power artificial intelligence – fermi’s first interest. quinn’s latest odd perspective is tying haldane and weiner (old geniuses way back when) to some twisted coded stuff on artificial intel and lots o messed up secret society folk of last few generations. apparently artificial intel has back doors (gates) to every system. what prompts some of these systems to snarf up everything in systems on any individual is when an ai vacuuming the net for verbage runs across some one individual associated with the words wiener and gate. sounds like he’s positing that q-anon is about to out alot more corrupt folk that q will be attracted to investigating after enough folk associate them with the key words. sounds like peter thiel is a prime target for corrupted powerful humans.

irony on last post is that the tesla tower on the vid is in milford texas about 2 hours away from tyler texas – where bushes built 3/4 of an accelerator ring and then stopped. as if

Think Silent Running droids for the manning of the day to day maintenance of the Moonbase. Though Space 1999 or Ufo base would be cool let us face reality this cuts down on resupply and safety and security problems though this would not prevent sabotage. Russia China thinks long-range, not short-term like the USA.

Reminiscent of the British East India Company and others like them. Now space is the new oceans; and those controlling, want to control finance through satellite communications. The chessboard’s initially positioned strength will rely on the moon as a center position, like on the chess board[PK4/PQ4].
Add too this the search for ancient artifact technologies[the new gold/silver] and you get the picture.
The private exotically owned technologies[paid for by the public] are going to play a huge role. No doubt the Russians, Chinese, Germany, etc.; have a few aces up their sleeves, as well as others[Nazi international?]

Entertainment like Star Trek or Star Wars is fiction. Orbiting the earth or possibly travel to the Earth’s moon is one thing but I have serious doubts about humans spending their entire lifetime in some sort of vehicle or some base on another planet or moon. There seems to be an abundance of issues facing human beings spending a lifetime on Earth which is our home planet. If and when humans are successful in living a full and healthy life otherwise (and there is irrefutable proof of it) then I may be persuaded of its possibility.

In the movie Avatar, humans went to Pandora for an exotic material not available on Earth. In the same way, Russia may want to go to the Moon for a material not available on Earth, i.e., Helium-3. Russian plans to set up a moon base usually inhabited only by robots may reflect the dull, boring work expected with scooping-up lunar soil and processing it for Helium-3 (plus H2O at the poles). Controlling robots is also much simpler on the Moon than on Mars due to the much shorter time-delay caused by speed-of-light signalling. Robots need only be slightly autonomous; kind of human-tended. (Plus, one might encounter ‘unusual’ items with roving, semi-autonomous robots.)

The biggest problem the Russians are going to have is developing a moon-worthy rocket: Saturn 5 scale. Soyuz-scale rockets won’t deliver useful payload to the lunar surface. The Soviet N-1 moon rocket was a good design, but the 30 NK-15 rocket engines in the first stage proved unreliable in the aggregate. Have one go boom, and you lost the mission. However, SpaceX successfully ganged 27 Merlin engines on its Falcon Heavy rocket, so technology may have matured enough to revisit the N-1 design.

By the way, over at ArsTechnica, they really hate NASA’s proposed “Lunar Gateway.” Check out the (intelligent) comments explaining how this is really a useless money-pit, destined to delay any substantial moon base for decades. (The Russians may have decided to bypass this albatross and go directly to the Moon.)

Well, if that “secret space program” actually exists, we should already have Moon bases, Mars bases, be mining asteroids, and who knows what else; in which case this is all theater for the unwashed masses. If it dosen’t, then its all a long running psyop to keep our attention focused elsewhere while they rob us blind and establish their NWO.
Planning to build Moon bases, while the world marches to war, seems a bit ridiculous. How does the scientific community seem to transcend the geopolitical nonsense and make common cause where space exploration is the focus?

I agree. While people planning trips to stars allow another boulevard to claim a quiet country lane, it’s insane!
