There is already talk of re-building Notre Dame, but the question is, as what? We'll get back to that, but before we do, there is already talk of using the new technology of additive manufacturing or 3D printing to rebuild the cathedral, a process which, incidentally, could conceivably restore the structure more or less to its pre-fire state, according to this article shared by M.W.:

Speaking to FRANCE 24, Eric Geboers, co-founder of Concr3de, said, “As the extent of the damage is becoming clear, it is time to think about how to rebuild this sacred monument that has seen so much history. We propose a strategy to rebuild Notre-Dame in a modern way that maintains the soul and layered history of the building.
“Why not reuse what is left? What if we take the remains of Notre-Dame and use them to build her up again? What if we take the stone that has seen so much history and use that to maintain the soul of the building?”
Rebuilding with the remnants
Concr3de suggests combining old materials with new technologies. They will collect the ash, dust and damaged stone remnants in the nave of the cathedral and turn that into a 3D printable powder. “This powder will have the yellowish grey colour of Parisian stone and will be mixed with the charred remains of the wood. We can use this powder and directly 3D print the destroyed parts of Notre-Dame.
“The ash and limestone that remain would probably make up about half of the required materials. Then we would bind them together. But we would not use any plastics or resins. It would be a much more natural and pure procedure than that.”
“It is impossible to say at this stage exactly how long the work would take, but it would certainly be finished within five years,” said Geboers. “Working with our technique is at least five times faster than cutting stone.
“Of course it will take a lot of work but it is possible. With one large printer, you can produce two cubic metres of material in a day.”
OK, that makes sense, especially if, as Geboers states, one wants to preserve the "soul" of the cathedral, which would seem to imply a restoration of its traditional art-work.
Unfortunately, it would appear that the little popinjay Emanuel Macron's globaloneyist multi-cultural stupidity and hubris knows no bounds, for what he has in mind for the structure is of the same order as his "there's no such thing as French culture" statement that he made at the Verdun memorial, surrounded by the graves of thousands of his countrymen who died in that battle to preserve precisely the culture that Macron said didn't exist. Hi All! I am new here so please allow me to say that I have been following this community for awhile (ca. 2016) and it is one of the more knowledgeable that I have come across
My observation is that they powers that be, love to create diversions for the laity. Religion, race, nationality, money, status, sexual orientation, vaccines, infertility ALL of it facilitates despair, anger, and degradation of the human “Soul”. By debasing our humanity and making a mockery of what we have accomplished, they enslave us through making us. Moreover, they make us “fear” each other there for never allowing us to come together as a homogeneous collective.
Another observation, is they use opulence to pervert life because it degrades the significance, either symbolically or realistically, of concepts (spiritual and philosophical) epochs, values, morals, people, places, things. Having too much of one thing, makes that thing, disposable and replaceable and at the same time, superfluous and insignificant.
At present, there is a lack of appreciation for what we have (most of us have an (over)-abundance of material things including children, friends and family). No longer is humanity grateful for the privileged time with that/those which we will eventually lose.
As this flesh disintegrates and youthful vitality is exchanged with elder sagacity, this should be a critical lesson learned…
Unfortunately, (as is the case at present) humanity is enslaved and in bondage to the flesh. Though endowed with amazing perception and intellectual acuity (throughout the ages), denies its spiritual essence and submits to the toils and nonsensical immortality projects of the temporal. Through our vanity and the illusion that we can control and comprehend the mechanization of this universe and its Creator, we have led ourselves down the (ir)reversible road of perdition.

I posted late on at the end of the discussion which followed your podcast on the Notre Dame fire to the effect that it’s hard not to feel that (quite apart from whatever the powers that be were about, and the reality that a wonderful piece of architecture has been largely destroyed) that when events of this sort occur we’re from a much higher vantage level being asked to set aside our identification with ‘stuff’.
There’s much of value in all cultures that needs to be preserved, the challenge going forward is to differentiate between the valuable and the bling.
The bling (which in many cases we’ve developed an inordinate attachment to) includes the buildings and the paraphernalia used for millennia by religions and civil institutions to project power and hence help to control of the masses – primarily for their own benefit.
The bits of our cultures that matter relate to the positive, more tolerant and co-operative parts of their value systems (there’s much also that’s indefensible about them) – which have evolved out of the development on the part of at least a reasonable number of people of the recognition that what matters is to live through compassion and wisdom.
We’ve a lot of work to do to manifest this more generally (especially geo-politically and inter-culturally), but more bricks and mortar won’t contribute to what in essence are matters of personal and collective growth, awakening and path.
I doubt for example that any of the great wisdom teachers (including the Christ) that have come through over the millennia are much disturbed by the loss of the cathedral. They can likewise probably think of a gazillion things the money would be better spent on…
Which isn’t to say that the fire isn’t a tragedy, and the loss of an amazing piece of architectural history. By all means do something inclusive with it – so that it becomes an amenity.
We need however to take the hint, release our attachment to such stuff and move on…

First off, I am in favor of rebuilding Notre Dame Cathedral as close to the original as possible, including having respect for the ‘psychic memory’ of the space/materials. Full stop.
However, there is a tension in the background. Mankind is growing up. Technologically, the world is becoming ever smaller. This is encouraged by the PTB. On the other hand, there is opposition to the spiritual growth of mankind, because this would short-circuit the PTB agenda. Nevertheless, it too is happening.
Religion stands in the middle, here. Not spirituality; religion. There were core ‘spiritual events’ (usually around an Advanced human) that formed the basis of each religion. However, by several generations down the line, this basic Knowingness had been diluted by mortality (death of original witnesses and disciples) and various lustings for power (individual and group). From there, each religion went through waves of ossification and renewal, leading to today’s mishmash of forms.
So, while I am in favor of various religious icons and structures being cherished and protected, there will have to be some ‘spiritual awakening’ of all mankind that We Are One on some deep level. (Perhaps, a reverse “Tower of Babel moment.”) Once that happens, the divide-and-conquer tactics of the PTB will lose much of their edge. Then, individuals will be free to ‘climb’ whatever religious and spiritual pathway they choose, thus benefiting all mankind…

This includes everything from the role of the Observer in quantum mechanics to Morphogenetic Fields in Rupert Sheldrake’s view of reality. (And throw-in many personal experiences.)
The above leads me to a viewpoint of what I (in engineer-speak) might call Applied Realities. ‘Working’ the future. And I mean that in more than a mundane, propaganda sense. Changing how the wave-function collapses, in science-speak.

There is another way of looking at all this. First of all, a disclaimer: I am not in the globaloney camp, nor do I aspire to be.
However, I am a globalist in the sense that I believe the only way humanity will ever be able to stand up to globaloney is through unity. I believe in self determination and I aspire to reverse engineer the Tower of Babel moment.
Globaloney loves to sew discord and division through language, race, religion, creed and all the rest of it. The distractions of politics and squabbles over how best to restore a damaged monument are exactly what globaloney wants in order to keep us divided and weak so that it can continue to control, manipulate and harvest us.
My late mother always used to tell me that the world would be such a boring place if everyone spoke the same language, ate the same food, played the same music, wore the same clothes, etc, etc. She was probably right in many ways; but the world would probably also be a more loving, peaceful and prosperous place if the 3D humans were not only awake, aware but in charge.
If we were able to lift our eyes above the globaloney distractions to see that we are one species (aren’t we?!) with one planet to share, and turn our attention inwards to see the divinity that lies within, then globaloney wouldn’t stand a chance.

I’m inclined to agree with ZDB on this one. I’m not convinced Le Pen lost the election. Though I believe in secret ballots as long as votes are honest there is no proof that votes are actually counted as cast. Making them digital only simplifies the vote manipulation procedures. Statists run the electoral processes and they have a vested interest in maintaining the status quo. If France had an honest election process Le Pen would have won. If the US had an honest election process, Al Gore would have won in 2000. To this day I cannot figure out why he didn’t contest the vote in his home state of Tennessee. There is ample evidence he would have won the state, providing him the needed electoral votes to secure the presidency.
