So, will Teresa May’s resignation make a difference at a fundamental level? I could see all the usual smoke-and-mirrors continuing, just with a different public face. On the other hand, if the PTB sense a true groundswell against them (torches and pitchforks time), then we can probably look forward to some ‘distraction’ event. Global financial crash? Shooting war with Iran? Incoming asteroid?

Goshawks, when politicians behave as she has – it’s not the first time, just think of the duplicitous Tsipras in Greece – one can imagine that money, duress or both may be involved. Having said this, I agree with Joseph that the Brexit business is not just a sham, but actually reflects a severe conflict within the British oligarchy between those who are nostalgic for thalassocracy and those who more pragmatically wish to move towards tellurocracy (to use A. Dugin’s terms). At least insofar as an island nation can do so.
Acknowledging such a conflict does not of course mean that the protagonists should be seen in the “good vs evil” paradigm: that’s quite another matter.

The key here is that the people’s wishes were irrelevant . That makes any voting within a democratic state (even a British version) a sham.
On the “severe conflict,” I remember David Icke’s timeline for the PTB assembling a global New World Order. It involved setting up ‘blocs’ of nations before the final unification. North American Union was one. Eurasian Union was another. The UK was implicitly assumed to be within the Eurasian Union; only an outlier nation within the great landmass. So, I imagine those with fond remembrance of the British ‘heyday’ are resisting the über-PTB…
On the “good vs evil” paradigm, I imagine that anyone who would dumb-down an entire species so that they could have ‘playthings’ might be called Evil…
icke seems about as dark as theil and friends in their intellectual dark web even as all these guys play the extreme long suffering reformers. it’s just to hard to forget what icke tries so hard to make us forget: he’s a long time blavatsky-ite. part of lucius trust? even more annoying when he’s the most accurate source on so many issues.
The two party system in all countries is self imploding, people of the world are wakeing up and Merkel and the Brussels elites know it. So is Martin Bormann turning in his grave, you bet he is.
