You may have heard about that story that New York City actually aired - for the first time since the 1960s - a televised public service announcement about what to do in case of a nuclear attack.  When I heard about it, I couldn't help but recall those ridiculous drills I had to do as a very young boy in grade school, crouching beneath my desk and covering my head in case those never-to-be-trusted-and-always-cunningly-byzantine-Rooskies-and-their-evil-criminal-mastermind-Vladimir-Putin-I-mean-Nikita-Khrushchev decided to waste one of their h-bombs by dropping one on Sioux Falls, South Dakota, a key metropolitan center to any protracted American war effort... NOT.

I thought the whole thing was ridiculous then, and I still do. I was one of those enfant terrible kids who kept asking awkward questions in class, like, "why don't the trees just grow taller by evolution to escape the giraffes growing longer necks thanks to evolution, which seems to explain everything and nothing all at once by arguing in a circle?" and "why would the Russians want to bomb Sioux Falls? There's nothing important here", and "since when do bullets do that?" when I saw the cute cartoon diagram of the magic bullet in our local newspaper after the lie that was the Warren Report came out.

Fortunately, the local school board seemed to have come to its senses after the second grade, and quit making us duck and cover. Mind you, we still had fire drills, where we would all have to exit the building quickly, and stand outside  on the playground.

I can't help the impression that, after the covid planscamdemic sputtered to a halt, the  great reset appears to be encountering the great resist, and in general all the schemes of Mr. Globaloney appear to be laughed at more than taken seriously, that Mr. Globaloney - running out of new tricks - has reached to the very bottom of his bag of dirty tricks to dust off a helpful old stand-by: the nuclear apocalypse (story courtesy of V.T.):

Nuclear Watchdog Groups Mock NYC's Atomic Bomb Preparedness Video As 'Delusional'

Now... pay close attention:

Peace advocates on Tuesday derided a New York City public service announcement meant to prepare residents for a nuclear attack as a 21st-century version of the absurd Duck and Cover civil defense film of the early Cold War era.

"So, there's been a nuclear attack," the narrator of the NYC Emergency Management video begins. "Don't ask me how or why, just know the big one has hit."... "So what do we do?" she continues before instructing viewers to "get inside, fast," "stay inside... and get clean immediately," and "stay tuned; follow media for more information."

"All right? You've got this," the woman assures viewers.

While New York City Mayor Eric Adams called the PSA a "great idea," some critics accused officials of unwarranted fearmongering amid increased nuclear tensions with Russia over its invasion of Ukraine and NATO's response.

Others lambasted the PSA as latest in a line of nuclear war informationals like the U.S. Civil Defense Administration's Duck and Coverand the British government's Protect and Survive films that offer little more than delusive contentment for millions of people who likely would not survive a full-scale thermonuclear attack.

"The reality is, if this comes to pass, you don't 'got this,'" tweeted the International Campaign to Ban Nuclear Weapons (ICAN), which was awarded the 2017 Nobel Peace Prize for its work leading to a landmark treaty outlawing nukes.

Calling the PSA "outrageously misguided," ICAN said it's difficult to get inside fast during a nuclear explosion "when, in a matter of seconds, houses up to 175 kilometers away from the epicenter crumble like they are made of cards."

According to NukeMap, a single Russian 800 kiloton warhead airburst over midtown Manhattan would destroy or severely damage much of New York City and cause an estimated 4.5 million casualties.

A higher-yield weapon, like the five-megaton warheads atop China's Dong Feng-5 intercontinental ballistic missiles, would destroy most of the city while killing or wounding around eight million people. In an actual full-scale nuclear war, multiple warheads would likely be launched against a target as important as New York.

Millions of people not instantly incinerated or obliterated by the fireball—which is hotter than the sun's core—and immense blast wave of a nuclear explosion would suffer severe burns, blinding, lacerations, blunt-force injuries, and, for many, the slow death of radiation poisoning.

And there you have it...

But you'll note something: the whole analysis of New York City's "nuclear public service announcement" is predicated on the idea of a large yield nuclear weapon being detonated. This in a city that suffered the 9/11 attacks, which some people to this day maintain were the result of "mini-nukes."  The fact of the matter is, that the nuclear weapons of Russia and the USA have now entered the period of "dial-a-yield", and can be made to be quite small. Indeed, nuclear "devices" are so sophisticated now that dial-a-yield is not fiction: one can literally modify the intended yield of a particular device depending on what one wants to accomplish. The trend in nuclear weapons, contrary to the article, is not to larger and larger yields, but the reverse, to smaller and smaller yields   with much more efficient burns, and with commensurately smaller radioactive effects.  We've known for a very long time how to design big yields, think only of the Soviet Union's massive 57 megaton yield Tsar Bomba of 1961.

There's also another possibility, one that a friend - K.M. - mentioned in private discussion with me, and one with which I concur. If one examines the actual statements of the New York City PSA, they are more condign to the detonation of a low-efficiency low-yield "dirty bomb" than they are of an actual nuclear or thermonuclear detonation.   They are more suited to the detonation of a "home-grown" dirty bomb act of terrorism, than of the nuclear weapons in the arsenals of the world's nuclear powers. In other words, a narrative is being prepared, perhaps for yet another "false flag" conducted by a desperate - and desperately evil - Mr. Globaloney.

And one final note: why even bother with nuclear weapons any more at all, when a rod of god dropped from a satellite can accomplish similar levels of mass destruction, without all that nasty fall out? One wonders what sorts of PSAs (Public Service Announcements) New York City will concoct for those? Or is the whole point to misdirect people to think of nuclear weapons, and not acknowledge the existence of kinetic weapons at all...  One thinks of that strange "chemical plant explosion" in Tianjing, China, and how everyone - well, almost everyone - said it looked like a mini-nuke going off...

...but I still think that "crater" was far too narrow, and far too deep... (and for those wanting to do a deep dive into that subject, compare the picture of that crater with the picture of the "crater" left by the 7 ton armor-piercing projectiles hurled by the German 80cm railroad gun "Dora" against Sevastopol in 1942... after the battle, the German artillery officers took a picture of the "crater" - a 90-plus-meter long "tunnel" bored by the projectile deep into the ground... the resemblance is uncanny).

See you on the flip side...

I do not believe the Russinas are our enemy. Most of America’s enemies already live within its borders. But even if there was ever any ill intent on the part of America’s overseas enemies to destroy the nation it would only take a few thermonuclear detonations. Those would be well off the North American coastline, and involve tusnami waves of epic proportions. The Ruskies will never, ever have to drop nukes on the North American continent in order to bring the entire continent to its knees. Therefore, we have absolutely no need to worry about nuclear fallout, and it is a minor matter compared to the real threats to our way of Life. And, even if American nukes were launched against the Russians, even from space, the Russians have an actual missile defense system. However, those Rods of Gawd things could make a difference.

Real threats, and real dangers are present in America, and a New American Civil War coming, hopefully not in my lifetime.

I’d been in tornados and one level 5 tornado in Kansas when I was just a kid. Our school drills consisted of arms crossed over our heads with faces against the hall wall. I knew it was BS, I knew the difference between a tornado watch and a warning, I knew what the air felt like when a tornado was close and the absolute stillness just before the rains came and the tornado hit. I used to clean the erasers for my teacher at the brush machine in the basement (I did this when I couldn’t handle sitting at my desk any longer) … my idea was to get as many people as possible into that basement — my teacher said to follow the drill — fortunately, we never had a tornado while at school. I talked to my father and he said if the sirens go off he’d be waiting outside in the car and to come a quickly as possible since we only lived a few blocks away. I certainly didn’t believe that a hallway, even built out of cement blocks, would protect us from a tornado let alone a nuclear attack. About the same time the Cuban Missile Crisis happened — the next year Kennedy was shot — I felt terrorized as a young kid of only 8 yo — it’s no wonder that I grew up with an abject distrust of authority that pretty much stayed with me for the rest of my life.

At 14 when we landed on the moon, and I don’t doubt that we did, but I thought that something was off — just didn’t know what — because we could barely get a good TV signal from our local TV station and the broadcast of the landing just didn’t look right, you know? I was 14 and I had a feeling that I was in some way, that I didn’t understand, being duped. The camera angle didn’t look right, the shadows didn’t look right, the flimsy capsule didn’t look right — my gut said something was off to the point it was difficult to be excited about this great event. We were in a test group when I was 5 or 6 year old that took vaccines on sugar cubes at the university — I’ve never taken more than one tetanus shot since. When the “media” pandemic blitz occurred — I was terrified — not of getting sick, but … well, you know. I’m reading this late and just read the Tidbits posted 7-30 about the polio vaccine scam — yep, but it’s another topic people don’t want to hear. Yesterday I ran across an audio from 1967 that was a discussion moderated by Alan Watts on his houseboat with Timothy Leary, Allen Ginsberg, Gary Synder & Allen Cohen — it was interesting to get the 60s perspective from a private discussion at this point in my life. At one point they’re talking about turning off the TV and enjoying each other’s company while blowing a bull horn or a conch horn … I thought today, this would happen with everyone’s head down while they played the bull horn app on their iphones. Maybe you’ll enjoy this audio as well: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M1skWAPp5-E

Scare their pants off to assure funding for the MIC. Rinse and repeat, ad infinitum.

    Same as it ever was.

I suspect that the authorities and Civil Defense people are concerned about the amount of weapons and munitions swirling around our countries that have been purchased on the black markets after Western governments have given $ hundreds of millions of military equipment to support the war effort in Ukraine with little controls or audit.
    Likewise Libya, Iraq and Afghanistan.
It seems strange that there has been no major terrorist attack for a long time. Maybe the public service announcement is conditioning people for what is yet to come?

    • Michael UK on August 3, 2022 at 3:25 am

*Correction. Should read $ Billions of military equipment.

Small & smaller. That “dial-a-yield” can be right down to a cup of tea.

It’s possible that the Department of Energy’s nuke sniffers turned up something on their reconnaissance flights while air sampling.

Can still remember those ‘duck & cover’ drills in school. A teacher would walk through the school hallways cranking an arm held siren device to simulate an alert siren making that wavering sound.

Students would be ushered single-file out of rooms with glass pane windows, which most class rooms had, to the gymnasium to get down, tucked in on knees, and hold hands over the back of the neck while head down.Waiting.

The ramblings of the over-schooled and under-educated or more correctly pseudo-educated. So, Joseph the Skekesis our so-called leaders, have been found wanting after being weighed in the balance and about to commit their last major crime of murder-suicide, taking as many of us Gelflings to hell with them.

    • anakephalaiosis on August 2, 2022 at 7:15 am

Jim Henson’s Gelfling/Skeksis theme points towards undoing a split narrative, by counteracting a Mandela effect.

The broken crystal is pieced together, so that it regains its original function. Today, the optical lens of the West is a broken prism.

Originally, Genesis had that function, as an embryonic tale, about geometrical cosmology, based on river rafting a time-compass.

Everything depends on retrieving etymology of the word Yeah-weh, to determine its original function.

      • anakephalaiosis on August 2, 2022 at 7:17 am

BTW, the Skeksis have a footnote appearance, in another Jim Henson production – Farscape – suggesting, that astronaut John Crichton, as a Dorothy Gale from Kansas, is a Gelfling, in a wormhole vodka distillery:

If they want to pull a false flag that people outside the NYC area and the West Coast are going to buy, they’ll need some much better storytellers than they’re using now! Mr. Globaloney seems to have promoted his yes-men up to and beyond their level of incompetence.

    • Robert Barricklow on August 1, 2022 at 7:29 pm

I passed that book around[I was just stationed over seas, in the Indo-China theater].
It was 1970, The Peter Principle: Why Things Always Go Wrong[1969]
Also passed around, Mile High by Richard Condon[1969].
Hard to do, as at the time, The Godfather had just come out.
But the Peter Principle really took-off!!![w/in the officer corps].
They could certainly identify w/the theme!

    • InfiniteRUs on August 2, 2022 at 7:08 am

I doubt it will be a false flag. I suspect they mean for us to take a first strike and all the major cities might be hit. This may be propaganda, for the low IQ puppet politicians who seem to be on the same meds as mass shooters, to think a first strike won’t be so bad.

One needs only look to the other compromised Governor’s and Mayor’s of federally captured states like WA, CA, and NV to see if they tow the party line. Eyes will be watching for the pattern. 👀

I like it: “The great Resist”.
Of course, it’s never the U.S. Ukraine staged coup of 2014; it’s the Russian invasion of the Ukraine.
If it’s not the Russians, it’s the algorithm, or it’s because of covid1984.
Never is it the “global leadership’s ” fault. A fault by design, no les.

I have to say, that a nuclear attack; is not as entertaining as would an Orson Well’s Martian Invasion, would have been.

With all the globalist’s experiments going on at the same time; what’s one more, nuclear global war experiment? They’ve” never been concerned about the experiments running all over each other. Makes one wonder what kind of science are these “experiments’?
Especially, as most are scheduled to go… live-in-action.

Let’s not forget “they’re” already dialing up: hurricanes, tornadoes, tidal waves; earthquakes; fires by the globalized baker’s dozen; “viruses”; and God knows what else has been going on – under the radar? [Yes, the rod of God]

And, whose to say there not prepping the ground for a false flag nuclear strike on New York, or some other patsy city[ies]? I mean, these insane Clowns In America and their asylum leadership is capable of outdoing Batman’s Joker, when it come to sheer diabolical crimes.

Now, w/global leaders like these, who in the world needs enemies?
(You read the above right: I do prefer WHO[World Health Organization] having enemies.)

Historically, “drills” sometimes go parallel with “false flags”.

    • Awake on August 1, 2022 at 2:35 pm

Well, if the people of NYC have not broken free from their mind control program by now…they will after this false flag has been executed. I will also say, that as I’m writing this comment it hits me that the vast majority of people from NYC as well as NY state will never break free of their mind control programming.
My wife has business associates in NY, NJ and PA, that get onto video conference and break off the main topic to discuss how they are going to take the afternoon off to go get the latest booster vax. They are all on booster #2 and proud of it, like being really cool and hip to the latest fashion. They all hate Trump and are angry at all the truckers that refuse to get the vax to keep their jobs. It does not matter that these truckers have an extremely critical job to do for the regular people of the USA & Canada. These idiots say openly that all the truckers that refuse to get the vax and boosters should all be fired and replaced. These fools just refuse to see that being an international over the road trucker has become a very hard job and very few are available for replacements. It’s totally ridicules. They say things like…I would have voted for a cheese sandwich before I would vote for trump. My wife, who is a red head and sassy, will say things like…how’s that cheese sandwich doing as president??…LOL. That typically stops the conversation in it’s tracks. 😉

The people of NYC — aside from a small minority — break the left’s party line? Ha!!! Keep dreaming. And the closer they are to the upper middle class, or the more they wish to be perceived as part of that class, the less likely they’ll ever snap out of the mind control. It’s a lost cause, at least for the foreseeable future. A lot of folks from NYC end up here in FL. In my experience, they adhere to their worldview with an evangelistic, quasi-Puritanical fervor; ditto for the locals who see NYC as the sole preserve of culture in America. They’d just as soon see heretics (those who question “The Science”) burned at the stake, along with as many Deplorables as could be rounded up. OK, that may be an exaggeration… but only a small one. Intolerance and conformity have become a badge of honor for these most illiberal of “liberals.”

        • Awake on August 2, 2022 at 9:13 am

Agreed. Wife’s supervisor has had two heart attacks and quadruple bi-pass. He still goes like religion and gets that booster. He talks about how he does not understand why he feels so bad all the time, because he just got his latest vax. oh boy…..no hope. He then says that soon Texas will become a Democrat state because of all the illegals and then your all going to have to get your vax too. Completely mind controlled and very sad.

        • Joseph P. Farrell on August 2, 2022 at 10:16 pm

I have had the same experience and impression.
